Former Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) politician Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has reacted after President Cyril Ramaphosa suspended the South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions, Advocate Andrew Chauke. Ramaphosa suspended Chauke on Monday, 21 July 2025, with immediate effect pending an inquiry into Chauke’s fitness to hold office.
Ndlozi previously courted the ire of South Africans after seemingly agreeing with Ramaphosa's decision to grant Senzo Mchunu special leave and implement a commission of enquiry. The Power FM radio host is topping the trending list on social media after sharing his thoughts on Advocate Andrew Chauke’s suspension.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi applauds Ramaphosa for suspending Chauke
Taking to his verified X account on Monday, 21 July 2025, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi reacted after President Ramaphosa suspended Advocate Andrew Chauke. Ndlozi celebrated Chauke’s suspension and predicted that more action would be coming. The 40-year-old former politician again shut out any criticism and praised Ramaphosa for taking action. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi reacts to General Sibiya's special leave
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has raised eyebrows with some of his reactions following General Nhlanhla Mkwanazi's explosive press briefing.
Briefly News reported that Mbuyiseni Ndlozi reacted after Deputy National Police Commissioner for Crime Detection, Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya, agreed to take a leave of absence.
Sibiya agreed to remain at home until the ongoing investigation into the allegations made against him by General Mkhwanazi is concluded.
Ndlozi expressed excitement at the development, stating that things were going in the right direction. South Africans strongly disagreed with him and suggested that he had joined the ANC.
