"Today is such a special day, because someone unique was born. Your birth brought us such immeasurable joy. When I was pregnant, I never found out if I was carrying a boy or a girl, because for me, a child is such a big blessing and a gift, so I chose not to find out until the day of your birth," she wrote.

The beauty queen further shared how Bontle's existence on earth brought so much joy to her and the family. Kumalo also gave her an important lesson she should remember as she grows up.

She said:

"You've brought joy to our lives. Watching you grow is beautiful, and I often see my mannerisms in you, which surprises me.
"My advice, my girl, is to know yourself before the world shapes you. Visualise possibilities, guard your heart with faith, speak truth, and set boundaries. Dance to your own rhythm. Happy 11th birthday! May God's hand be on you, and may you walk in favour, with goodness and mercy all your days."
