South African exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu has lamented her grievances after being allegedly discriminated against by a Durban doctor. Zodwa took to social media to relay her grievances, saying she is thinking of suing the said doctor.

Zodwa is known for wearing skimpy clothing when dancing on stage. She also tends to post revealing pictures and videos on social media, but she reckons that she is expressing her freedom of expression.

The reality TV star recently resumed her social media after disappearing since December 2024.

Zodwa exposes doctor infringing on her rights

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 23 July 2025, Zodwa Wabantu shared a photo of the doctor and revealed that he had made a complaint against her.

"To the public. I have a story about this doctor who is interfering with my life. He is violating my constitutional rights and my right to freedom of expression to dress up how I choose to dress up. He went and laid a complaint that getting a professional massage and getting a drip advertising is bringing the medical profession into disrepute, because it is sexual. It is sexual in his dirty mind. I’m going to sue him now and take him to the Equality Court."

Zodwa continued by saying the complaint was a direct diss towards her culture, and she will not take it lying down.

"This doctor is discriminating on my beliefs and culture. He is discriminating against me and my doctor, who embraces people of all different cultures and beliefs. If I walk in public, with my clothes, who is He. This person insults my clothes and interfere with my money."

Zodwa Wabantu returns to spotlight

Before announcing her return, she last posted on 20 December 2025. The reasons she gave include getting robbed in December 2024 and also going through initiation school.

"My people, it has been a long time. Life is hard. In December, my phone got stolen during a robbery. It is a long story. There was a lot of drama," she said.
"On the other hand, my initiation process is taking my time. But, I have hired a social media expert for all the technicalities for Instagram. I have finally recovered my account," she revealed. "Now, let us gossip. Who is killing it right now? Is there anyone hotter than me right now? I would like to see."
