South Africans mock Simphiwe Dana for accusing Nomzamo Mbatha of copying her hairstyle, which bears a resemblance to that of the late, legendary singer Miriam Makeba.

Dana was also mocked by former Gomora actress Sannah Mchunu, who made fun of the singer in two shady Instagram posts on Monday, 28 July.

Professional hairstylist Lazaros Sumbane spoke to Briefly News about the growing trend of traditional African hairstyles gaining popularity in mainstream media. He said:
