L-Tido's podcast has officially penned a deal with DStv to broadcast episodes on weekdays.

L-Tido announces his collaboration with DStv

Nearly three years since rapper L-Tido launched his podcast, it has exceeded expectations and become one of the most popular platforms in the country.

The podcast has hosted several South African entertainers, from Cassper Nyovest to Scotts Maphuma, who've spoken about everything from their careers to their reasons for not taking pictures with their fans.

Now with an impressive 167,000 subscribers and nearly 15 million views, the podcast is expanding to new territory after inking a deal with DStv.

Taking to his Twitter (X) page, Tido shared the incredible news with his followers, confirming his slot on Mzansi Wethu:

"The #LTidoPodcast just signed a deal with @dstvza. We go live this Thursday, 9:30 pm on Mzansi Wethu."

The next episode of The L-Tido Podcast will officially premiere on Thursday, 31 July 2025, on Mzansi Wethu, DStv channel 163.

This comes after MacG's comments about Minnie Dlamini cost Podcast and Chill its partnership with DStv.

After the controversial podcaster butted heads with Tido, it's only a matter of time before Chillers accuse Tido of copying their fave.

In similar Podcast and DSTV news, Briefly News reported that Mzansi erupted with reactions after trailblazing YouTuber Lasizwe Dambuza was allegedly dumped DStv months after signing a content deal for his popular Awkward Dates series to air on Mzansi Magic.

This made Dambuza the second content creator out of the eight who partnered with MultiChoice, to leave the broadcaster after Macgyver ‘MacG’ Mukwevho was dropped for his nasty comments about media personality Minnie Dlamini on Podcast and Chill.
