The Real Housewives of Durban star, Jojo Robinson, is rolling in style after buying herself some new wheels.

After her friendship with Nonku Williams ended in tears, Jojo can rest assured that her iconic Ford Mustang GT will cheer her up.

With its growling 5.0-litre V8, sleek lines, and undeniable presence, this American muscle car makes a statement wherever it goes.

New on the market, the Mustang GT retails for a whopping R1,320,500. Meanwhile, used models retail for an average of R715,552, with an average mileage and registration age of 38,100 km and 2019, respectively.

But don’t worry, you don’t have to go for the V8 to emulate Jojo’s vibe.

Here’s how to drive like Jojo without the mammoth-sized Mustang GT price tag.

1. Used Ford Mustang 2.3T EcoBoost - R489,062

All of the style of the Mustang GT, but with significantly lower fuel bills.

While it’s missing the intoxicating V8 exhaust note, the turbocharged 2.3-litre version keeps heads turning, but at a far lower price.

2. Used Ford Focus ST - R230,617

If you're looking for something sporty but still need space for the kids, the Ford Focus ST is the best of both worlds.

Based on the practical Focus hatchback, the ST dials things up with a more powerful turbocharged engine, sportier suspension, and more aggressive styling.

3. Used Ford Fiesta - R148,387

Did you say budget-friendly? The Ford Fiesta is just what you need.

Even though it’s a compact hatchback, it still has enough personality to make it feel special.
