The first was when Shona gave a moving speech during Connie's birthday celebration.
During the birthday dinner, Shona, who was visibly emotional and close to tears, expressed his undying love for his wife.
"You are the most amazing thing in my life. You are my partner, best friend, and soulmate. Your happiness is my number one priority. Making you happy and giving you everything that your heart desires, and making sure that you are protected, is what makes our kids love us even more. I want you to know that you are not only special to me, but you are special to a lot of people. We live in a world that is full of darkness. You are light," Shona said.

Secondly, how Shona and Connie Ferguson met is the definition of love at first sight. Now this story is one for the books. At the time of their budding romance, the Fergusons claimed they met by coincidence in 2001. This was when Sho had gone to their house to drop off Connie's sister.
The Kings of Joburg actress revealed that she heard a man's laughter while in another room and decided to see who it was. Their love was at first sight as the pair started dating and got married two months later.
In one of Connie's sweet birthday messages, she spoke about how Shona was her eternal best friend.
"Lord, I just want to say THANK YOU for my husband, my best friend, my soul mate, my baby daddy, my partner in EVERYTHING! He doesn’t like clothes, but that’s okay! As long as he is decent in public!'
"Happy birthday, my SKAT! I love you more than I could ever be able to express to you in words! Thank you for always being there! God bless you beyond your wildest dreams."
Lastly, another unforgettable moment was when Connie and Shona danced together for the gram. In 2020, Connie and Shona danced with their daughter Ali shortly after their gym session.
This was days before her 50th birthday, when they decided to bless the timeline with something special.
