South African socialite and businesswoman Gugu Khathi gears up for her annual, highly anticipated high tea event this coming Women's Month.

Recently, according to TshisaLIVE, DJ Tira's wife excitedly announced that the Mother and daughter high tea event will be taking place in two cities: Johannesburg on 9 August and Durban on 10 August 2025 in celebration of Women's Day.

Curated under her organisation I Am A Woman of Influence Foundation, Khathi, who received a brand new Porsche car as a birthday gift from her hubby in October 2024, told the publication that this year's theme Rebuilding and Restoration of the Mother and Daughter Relationship and Bond, where they will be tackling societal issues in grace, glam and honour.

She said:

"These events are designed to tackle critical issues affecting women and girls, such as gender-based violence and intergenerational trauma by fostering honest conversations in uplifting spaces."

The former RHOJ star also revealed on her Instagram page that Khanyi Mbau and her daughter will be hosting the Johannesburg event, and Sorisha Naidoo and her child will be taking over the Durban one.

"We are not getting ready; we are ready. The Early Bird Ticket Special ends today, and prices will revert to normal. Durban versus Jhb, you are on the battlefield—haibo! Mummies and Daughters are prepared to showcase fashion. I think we should have the best-dressed mum and daughter in each city. I’m challenging companies with products and brands to show what they can do because, wow, the excitement is real! #iamawomenofinfluence #Mother&daughterhightea #Womensmonth," she captioned the post.
