"Imagine paying a minimum of R20 000 just to watch two people say 'I do' and eat dry chicken. It could never be me. Never."

"You pay R65k to say a speech to them and about them."

@TheRoyalVisions reacted:

"The more I see this in RSA, the more I embrace other cultures like Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese weddings. Does everything have to be about money? What has poverty done to you guys that a ceremony aiming to bring families together, and forge ties with others is entirely tied to money? I ain’t gonna hold this one back. But y’all can ride Anele’s teeth ‘canal’ to hell and screw anyone that embraces such cultural insult."

@Nwayitel0 said:

"Maybe it's just that I'm broke. I feel like supporting someone's event at my own expense is a form of manipulation. Why must I pay so much money to support a wedding?😊"

"It’s a satirical wedding. I was about to say, I wonder who would pay those amounts to buy admission tickets."

@sontondlovu commented:

"Anele?? Kwenzakalani la, (what's going on here). Why are we booking tables at a wedding? Why bangayi (not go to) eHome Affairs one time."
