Media personality Ntsiki Mazwai has reacted to the death rumours about a businessman who allegedly has ties to Cat Matlala. On Thursday, unverified reports that the kidnapped businessman Jerry Boshiga was found dead circulated all over social media.
Ntsiki Mazwai responded to the reports by @Global_News_Hub, which read, "Respected farmer and businessman Jerry Boshoga, reported missing in November, has tragically been found deceased. Our condolences to his family. May he rest in peace. "
The outspoken activist and poet responded to the devastating report, saying, "This is so sad."

SAPS sets record straight on Jerry Boshoga
The National Spokesperson for SAPS, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, refuted these allegations on X (Twitter). She emphasised the importance of refraining from spreading false rumours.
She also informed people that the investigations are still at a very sensitive stage, and Boshoga is still missing.
"The SAPS calls on social media users to verify information with SAPS first before spreading fake and misleading information. The kidnapping case of Jerry Boshoga is at a very sensitive stage, and the victim has not been found alive or deceased. We are still searching for the victim."
