After years of work as a radio presenter, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has bowed out.
The award-winning radio personality and entrepreneur shared an emotional announcement on her social media pages, announcing her exit from the airwaves.

She was suddenly fired after receiving a letter from her employer on 15 July 2025, terminating her contract without reason.
The radio star hinted that her activism with her March for March movement against illegal immigrants may have cost her the radio gig.

Her last day on 31 July 2025 was met with profound support from her colleagues at Vuma FM, as well as her listeners, whose hearts she touched in her six years at the station.
She shared an emotionally charged farewell message, saying her departure was a painful realisation:
"Doing radio one last time. Goodbye to my first love. The sacrifice is painful, it hurts my soul, but I would do it all over again."
Ngobese-Zuma spearheaded the Cruise show from 9 AM to 12 PM on weekdays and grew a massive following of supporters who were heartbroken by her sudden exit.
