J Something and Cordelia mark 14 years of love

Mzansi fan-favourite couple J Something and Cordelia have been the talk of the town recently as they celebrated 14 years of their official love online.

On Friday, 1 August 2025, the musician poured out his heart to Cordelia, as they honoured International Girlfriend's Day. In his post, J Something noted that 14 years ago, he and his wife made their relationship official, though they had been seeing each other for some time before making it official.

"14 years ago, I asked her to be my girlfriend. We’d already started seeing each other… things were getting serious… but I hadn’t actually popped the question yet. So I did. Just to make it official. And I’m so glad I did," he wrote.

The Micasa band member further expressed his gratitude for having Cordelia as his wife and someone he can spend the rest of his life with.

He said:

"Today on International Girlfriend’s Day … I just want to say how grateful I am that I still get to call her that. My girlfriend. My friend that is a girl. The one I share life with, love closely, and live intentionally beside. What a pleasure it is to love her. To give her my time. To grow with her. Happy Girlfriend’s Day… girlfriend."
