The Scorpion Kings have opened their doors for the youth to be part of the behind-the-scenes action at their anticipated concert.

What is the 100 Lives Initiative?

Ahead of the long-awaited Scorpion Kings Live with Friends concert, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa are looking to make a bigger impact with the event.

Betway and the Betway Cares Foundation have partnered with the Scorpion Kings to offer internship programme opportunities ahead of the much-anticipated Amapiano concert.

Dubbed the 100 Lives Initiative, the opportunity seeks to employ 100 young South Africans between 18 and 28 years old to gain hands-on experience working with the Scorpion Kings Live with Friends team.

Interns will benefit from skills development to be better equipped for their future careers in events and entertainment.

Not only that, but through Betway Cares, select candidates will also be offered bursaries, and the Head of the Betway Cares Foundation, Bakang Lethoko, said the organisation hopes to help the youth:

"The 100 Lives Initiative is about opening doors to real skills, real experience, and access to real opportunities."

The event will officially take place on 29 August 2025 at the Loftus Stadium in Pretoria. Those interested are invited to send their CV along with a motivational cover letter to scorpionkingslive@gmail.com. Applications close on 6 August.
