South African reality TV star Sorisha Naidoo made a video advising people on what it takes to qualify for a Hermès Birkin bag.
The Real Housewives of Durban star shaded the other housewives in the video shared by Showmax by calling herself the real housewife. In one of the episodes of Season 8 of the hit reality TV show, Sorisha finally celebrated owning her very first Birkin.
This achievement sparked a discourse online, with people arguing whether the other celebs like Faith Nketsi or Mihlali Ndamase, who bought two Birkins in Dubai, owned fake bags or not.

"We fail to recognise that the individual in question may have the income to support such expenditures. Criticism can also stem from envy and the desire for what others have, leading us to judge how others spend their money, especially when they can afford it."

In the video, Sorisha Naidoo joked that she manifested the bag by writing it down many times. She then said she came to the realisation that she had to actively purchase other items from Hermès, like sneakers and designer bags, until the store approves them. Speaking after the series premiered, Sorisha talked about being the only housewife to appear on the show for all seasons.
In a statement shared with Briefly News, Sorisha Naidoo said this made her feel bittersweet.
"I feel kinda sad, to be honest, because Nonku always jokes that she’s 'Miss International' and that she’ll be here for many more seasons. I really felt like she should have been here. It’s a bittersweet moment for me. I want to throw it in her face that I’ve made all five, but she’s not here for me to do that! We’ve been together from the very beginning, and I feel like she needed to be here for this one."

She was also dubbed the only housewife who is truly wealthy. This came with rumours that she runs things behind the scenes. @Mhanintsongo said Sorisha is the perfect definition of a rich housewife. This comes after Nonku decided to leave the show.
