Bathong, Wiseman Mncube's fans are unhappy with the recent comparison of the Shaka iLembe star to the late, legendary actor Menzi Ngubane on social media.
Recently, on Facebook, an online user, Tinashe Eugene Mushanguri, sparked a heated debate among netizens after comparing the two stars. This happened after Mncube's impeccable performance as Zwide kaLanga on Shaka iLembe season 2.

"Menzi Ngubane didn’t die... he multiplied 💥🔥🕊️Wiseman Mncube is the second actor in Mzansi giving us that same powerful energy Menzi Ngubane gave us 😭👏. Some fans say Wiseman has officially reached Ngubane’s level — same voice, same fire, same presence," the reads.

What led to the death of King Dingiswayo on Shaka iLembe
Since the start of the second of Shaka iLembe, Wiseman Mncube has been applauded for his great performance alongside Thembinkosi Mthembu, who played the role of King Dingiswayo.
Recently, the Shaka iLembe PR team shared with Briefly News what transpired between the Zwide Ka Langa and King Dingiswayo that led to his untimely death on the show.
"Season 2 depicts Dingiswayo's struggle to unite the Nguni, sabotaged by Zwide kaLanga (played by Wiseman Mncube), influenced by Ntombazi’s dark arts. In Episode 7, Dingiswayo is shackled in the Ndwandwe kraal, betrayed but unbroken. Ntombazi's declaration, “Isivukile inkosi yabaThethwa," marks his awakening.
"He confronts Zwide, blaming his witchcraft for his capture and refusing to beg, asserting the pride of the Mthethwa. Despite death, he remains dignified, foretelling a coming storm. Thembinkosi Mthembu’s portrayal captures Dingiswayo’s spirit as a kingmaker, reformer, and father."
This season, Mncube and Mthembu's acting skills were outstanding, which led to many netizens on social media praising them.
