Rethabile Khumalo continues to grieve her mother Winnie Khumalo's tragic passing months later.

The Live My Life hitmaker tragically passed away on 7 January 2025 after a brief illness, despite many of her industry peers noting her vibrant appearance just days before her passing.

Her daughter uses her online platform to celebrate her life with joyful memories; however, some days are harder than others.

She posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story on 18 August, lamenting her mom's death and wishing she could trade places with her:
