Who would have thought we'd see the day Jamie Foxx got bitten by the Amapiano bug and embraced the famous genre?
The controversial actor and comedian, famous for his roles in Ray and Django Unchained, shared a video of himself at a padel court on 19 August, 2025 vibing to Lutho by RIVALZ, Ceeka RSA and Optimist Music ZA.
Did we mention he also performed the famous Gwara Gwara? The Unpredictable singer did his best impression of Durban DJ and nightclub owner DJ Bongz's renowned dance move from the 2010s, and appeared to be having the time of his life:

The dance became popular in the South African dance and nightclub scene, quickly gaining international recognition, with stars like Rihanna adopting it in their performances.

This comes two years after Jamie endured a major health scare in April 2023, leading to his hospitalisation.
The actor was reported to have suffered a stroke while in production of his new Netflix movie, Back in Action, which was released on 17 January.
His dance video not only shows him embracing South African culture, but also demonstrates him enjoying a new lease on life.
