In the past, even a single post, like when he posted a picture of his baby mama, was enough to set social media abuzz. Now, a picture of Mlindo The Vocalist and his parents has set social media alight, with most of the chatter focused on his father.

On Tuesday, 19 August 2025, entertainment and current affairs blog MDN News reshared a picture of Mlindo The Vocalist with his mother and father. The post was captioned:

“Mlindo the Vocalist with his parents.”

In the picture, the musician who became a household name thanks to his debut album Emakhaya, was standing in the centre, with his father to his right and his mother to the left.

The family was modestly dressed with Mlindo The Vocalist wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and Adidas sandals. His father wore a checked blazer, a white shirt and dark trousers. On the other hand, his mom had on a colourful apron.
