"So, I was on a call with someone while eating my leftovers from last night, and he jokingly said I am eating on a budget. I replied, never, I would go back to being broke and poor ever again. I was a millionaire, then from 2006 to 2009, I was broke for three years.
"I remember going to Pick N Pay to buy chicken gizzards and livers, which cost R11 a pack. I made sure to cook them so they would last me for four servings. What I am trying to say is that I went through my test, started from scratch to rebuild my brand to what it is now," he said.

"Somizi was booked to introduce Vusi while we’re being overlooked. Money is being wasted here in Gqeberha. If he is reasonable, he’ll understand my point. However, I’ve never seen Somizi advocating for local artists. He’s silent because he’s also benefiting. I’m not doubting his hard work, but it’s unfair that he’s still taking opportunities from local artists," he ranted.
