Tyla has seemingly confirmed that she was the woman who passed out in the viral video.

While she was in Brazil, a mysterious clip surfaced on social media on 21 August 2025 that saw a woman resembling the Water singer being carried to a car and appearing unconscious.

The unknown woman was rumoured to be Tyla, judging by her petite stature, and the video raised concern among fans.

Later that night, Tyla posted a picture of a drunk Beyoncé from 2006 on her Twitter (X) page, seemingly confirming the rumours. With her eyes closed, the Crazy In Love singer wore a faint smile, intoxicated while slouched to the side.

Ayra Starr accused of copying Tyla

In an earlier report, Briefly News shared online reactions to a video of Ayra Starr's performance.

She was slammed by South African social media users who accused her of stealing Tyla's choreography, but the Nigerian singer's supporters came to her defence:

Hernamenottyla said:

"I’m so tired of South Africans always trying to ragebait Nigerians/ Mobsters at Tyla’s expense. Y'all are never hyping Tyla up but always finding a way to include her in your insipid country wars. Stream WWP and leave Ayra alone."
