Nandi Nyembe's family had South Africans talking on social media on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, when they confirmed her memorial and funeral services.

The memorial service of the actress, who passed away due to a long-term illness, will be held on Thursday, 28 August 2025.

The funeral service of Nyembe, who previously opened up about her burial and death, will be held on Saturday, 30 August 2025.

Actress Sannah Mchunu shared the memorial and funeral details of the veteran actress on her Instagram account on Tuesday, 26 August 2025.

Nyembe's memorial service will begin at 11:00 and end at 15:00, and will take place on Thursday, 28 August 2025, at the Market Theatre in New Town.

The former Jacob Cross star will be buried on Saturday, 30 August 2025, from 7:00 to 10:00. The family shared that the venue for Nyembe's funeral service will be confirmed as soon as possible.
