Actress Six Nyamane discusses her doctor role on 'Home Coming'

Fan-favourite actress and DJ Mpume "Six" Nyamane recently opened up about her latest role on Mzansi Wethu's upcoming telenovela Home Coming.
Nyamane will portray the character of Dr Zethu Hlongwane opposite former The Queen actor Sipho Manzini on the latest TV show, which replaces Sibongile & The Dlaminis.
The talented actress will also be joined by former Smoke & Mirrors star Khaya Xaba and Shaka ILembe actor Thembinkosi Mthembu.
Nyamane reveals in an interview with Daily Sun that she's stoked and couldn't wait to get back to acting.

"My husband roots for me. I have never led on a telenovela before, and believe this role came at the right time for me," says the star.
This is Nyamane's first role since she left SABC1's soapie Generations: The Legacy and since she got married.
Entertainment commentator Jabu McDonald recently confirmed on his X account that Nyamane has scored a leading role on the upcoming telenovela.
"Former Generations: The Legacy actress Mpume 'Six' Nyamane takes the lead role in Mzansi Wethu’s new telenovela Home Coming, premiering on 28 July 2025 at 18:30.
"The story follows Zethu, a top medical graduate who is forced to return to her rural village after struggling to find work. There, she crosses paths with Sifiso, a police officer and traditional healer, and soon finds herself caught between science, tradition, and an unexpected love," says the commentator.
