Actress Inno Manchidi Bids Farewell to ‘Muvhango’ Character Rendani Mukwevho

Talented actress Inno Manchidi, who's been playing Rendani Mukwevho since she was a teenager, says the ending of Muvhango saddens her.

Manchidi's character recently got the attention of South Africans on social media when she had an affair with her cousin, Mulalo Mukwevho.

The cast and crew of the Tshivenda soapie previously shared online that they were filming their final scenes in Venda.

The actress reveals in an interview with Daily Sun that the cast is finding it difficult to let go of the show and that it su*ks that it's ending.

"This is a show that has been part of our lives even before some of us started working for the production," says the star.

The SABC2 soapie confirmed the end of the show on its X account on Tuesday, 12 August.

"Curtains. We want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of you who have been with us from the very beginning and throughout our journey. We are humbled by the love you’ve shown us all these years. *Sithi thina as a family from Word of Mouth/ Muvhango okungapheli kuyahlola!," wrote the soapie.
