Have you ever wondered what a Springbok captain’s salary looks like down to the second? A content creator wondered how rich the beloved Siya Kolisi was and broke down his alleged salary, showing some of the luxury items the rugby player could buy with his millions.

The TikTok account Random Stats revealed that Siya, who was the first South African captain to lift the Webb Ellis trophy twice, reportedly earned R19 168 745 for the year, which saw him pocketing roughly R1.6 million per month.

The TikTok user broke the salary down further, sharing that Siya received R370 000 a week, R53 000 a day, R2 000 an hour, R37 per minute, and 61c per second.

"What can you actually get with that money?" the content creator asked.

  • Every year: A Ferrari 296 GTB valued at R7.5 million, a Lamborghini Urus valued at R5.8 million, and a Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet valued at R4.2 million

The yearly purchases totaled R17.5 million, which meant the father of two had a whopping R1.7 million left over.

Rolling in the bucks, Siya was reportedly named among the 10 highest-paid rugby players in the world for the 2024/25 season. While the charming athlete played for the French club Racing 92, he reportedly pocketed approximately R19.6 million for the season.
