The TikTok video of the couple received thousands of likes and comments across various social media platforms, and netizens did not take kindly to their sense of humour. The clip of the lovebirds sparked a discussion about the dynamic in their interracial relationship.

In a video reposted on X by @enbyfatale_ a man (@mrmovementsza on TikTok) was "complaining" about being married to a white woman. In the clip, he revealed that his wife put a price tag on him as a joke. He was covering his forehead with his hand in the clip and removed it to show that his wife labelled him with a R40 price tag. He pointed the camera in her direction, and she was in stitches and also muttered, "Come on, slave," and he laughed in response.
