A hilarious video showed an American Amazon delivery driver experiencing a significant fright during what should have been a routine delivery.
The video, shared on Facebook by user Herp Exploration, shocked and amused social media users with the driver's unexpected encounter.
The video opens with the sight of two massive snakes on the lawn of the home where the delivery driver was making a stop. One large reptile lay close to the front door, while the other was positioned by a tree near the walkway, guarding the path to the residence. A man and a woman, presumably the homeowners, stood outside, appearing completely familiar and unbothered by the presence of the formidable serpents.

The diversion in the delivery routine diversion
The homeowners, visibly amused by the situation, laughed as the man teased the already nervous delivery driver. The driver was seen constantly glancing over his shoulder, anxious that the snakes might follow him. The homeowner playfully noted that there were a 'bunch of them' in the direction the driver was walking to, adding to his noticeable discomfort and cautious behaviour as he navigated the reptilian obstacles.

Netizens react with shock and amusement
The clip gained massive popularity, sparking a flood of comments from social media users who found the driver's predicament both terrifying and amusing. Many stated that they would never deliver to that particular home again, making light-hearted but firm declarations about their snake phobia.
Some suggested that they would have left the package on the road, refusing to approach the house as closely as the driver did. Others posed a more serious question, keen to know what the owners do when the snakes decide they do not want to return to the house.
