An Afrikaner man was strongly convinced that it was a terrible idea to move to America, even if it meant receiving a job opportunity through the H-2A visa programme or receiving a refugee status in the United States. He explained why he would never set foot on the 'land of the free.'
America welcomed Afrikaner refugees after President Donald Trump was misinformed about the alleged 'white genocide' of Afrikaners in South Africa. The H-2A visa programme temporarily employs foreign nationals interested in agricultural job opportunities.

The Afrikaner, Johan Helberg, a local evangelist who prioritises his Christian faith, posted a lengthy video on his TikTok account on 29 July, 2025 to discuss vaccines in the United States.
Johan shared that his father-in-law asked him if he had seen a programme that discussed the wrongdoings in America. He noted that a doctor and other individuals, such as 'Kennedy,' possibly Robert F Kennedy Jr, who serves as America's 26th Secretary of Health and Human Services, were on the programme.

It should be noted that Kennedy, who is a Republican politician, became a controversial figure after promoting various conspiracy theories. The former environmental lawyer once claimed that vaccines were the cause of autism. The World Health Organisation (WHO) and other notable health organisations thoroughly debunked his theory.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kennedy also alleged that Dr Anthony Fauci, a physician and former Chief Medical Advisor to the President, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, exaggerated the pandemic to promote vaccines.

In his video, Johan showed a small syringe, likely referring to vaccines, and said he couldn't outright say what he was talking about as he feared his TikTok account would be banned.
He stated that the doctor and Kennedy shared that healthy children don't get vaccinated, while sick children do. He also emphasised his opinion that receiving injections was not good and questioned what was in the vaccine.
