According to a video on TikTok by @mustsharenews, police officers in the Philippines were told to lose weight or risk losing their jobs. The video showed officers in the Philippines exercising in a bid to secure their jobs as police officers. The clip detailed that they were trained, as police officers in the Philippines tended to be overweight. According to Phil Star, Philippine Police Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III announced that overweight officers had 6-12 months' notice to lose the kilos or risk getting fired.
