Content creator Sibusisiwe 'Buxie' Mbele received laughs and applause when she shared a video of herself mimicking the singing styles of various female artists while singing Sun-El Musician's hit track Akanamali.

On 16 August, 2025, Buxie uploaded the clip to her Facebook account, showcasing her impressions of American singers Billie Eilish, Toni Braxton, and Britney Spears. She also impersonated Dr Rebecca Malope and Babalwa M's singing styles.

Buxie perfected each singer. If one were to close one's eyes and listen to the impressions, the young voice impressionist could have been mistaken for the artist she mimicked.

4. Start small and simple: Try opting for people or characters with unique yet straightforward voices, allowing you to focus on mastering the fundamentals. As you gain confidence, you can take on more complex voices.
5. Welcome constructive criticism: Embracing feedback is just as important as the above tips. Remember that it is not backlash but constructive criticism.

A few local members of the online community headed to Buxie's comment section to share how much they had enjoyed the impressions. Many social media users found that they had enjoyed the Rebecca impression the most.
