Mzansi is buzzing once again as Bongi, who first went viral in a video that left South Africans in stitches, has returned to the spotlight, but this time for a very different reason. A new video posted by Pontsho Thapedi on Facebook on August 19, 2025, revealed how Bongi's life has taken a remarkable turn after he joined LADGAC, a rehabilitation centre.
In the video, he explained that his initial goal was to recover, but along the way, he was introduced to a new opportunity that has since changed his future. He is now training to become a chef and has already started showcasing his baking skills, proudly presenting Romany creams and other tasty creations made together with his team.
