The Nicki Minaj pose challenge has gone outdoors and into the wilderness! A man took the TikTok challenge to the next level when he included wildlife in his viral attempt.

On 24 August, 2025, Serval Wildlife, a lodge located in the Siha District in Tanzania, took to its account on the popular social media platform to show one of its animal care crew members surrounded by zebras and a giraffe.

To make the challenge even more interesting, the man crossed his legs and balanced one foot on one of the tree branches jutting out.

The unbothered animals, who seemed to be the true stars, stood still as statues despite the man invading their space.

What is the Nicki Minaj pose challenge?

Many people around the world have taken part in the Nicki Minaj pose challenge, which sees them crouched with their legs crossed and possibly balancing on a random (and quite dangerous) object. While some balanced on stacked dumbbells, others have used bottles of nail polish and tins of food.

The challenge, which has gone super viral on TikTok, takes inspiration from Nicki's pose in the music video for her 2013 song High School. On 8 August, 2025, the controversial, award-winning rapper recreated her iconic pose, which received a round of applause from many of her fans.

Wildlife features stun internet

Many social media users loved that the giraffe and zebras made a cameo in the video, which some people felt should have reached new heights in virality. Others jokingly wondered if the 'Investec animal' was black with white stripes or white with black stripes.
