An African American living in Johannesburg took to social media to share a message about online feuds and his appreciation for life in Mzansi.

The candid video, shared by TikTok user @bigsbuda1, received an outpouring of positive reaction from viewers who were impressed by his wisdom.

The man nicknamed Sbuda by locals began his video standing outside his house, advising people not to get caught up in social media feuds, instead encouraging them to live more in reality. He explained that people had been trying to involve him in the online beef between African Americans and South Africans, but he had refused to participate.

He added that he loves his life in Mzansi and is happy with his decision to relocate. Sbuda also noted that he's faced some challenges, like being robbed of his phone a few times, but stated that these losses were minor compared to what he had to deal with back in his home country.

The online feud between the US and SA

The man also said he wouldn't mention some of the achievements he's gotten since moving to Joburg, like his mansion, which he said he would not be able to afford in the US, as such talk tended to rub people the wrong way. He said he has American friends who also moved to Mzansi and were just as happy with their decision.

The man added that stepping onto the African soil gave him a profound sense of peace. He believes that the divide between African Americans and Africans is a tactic to divide black people, saying that unity would make them stronger. He said that while they may be raised differently, they are ultimately the same.
