A young couple has got South Africans rushing to visit a chocolate factory in Ekurhuleni after sharing their sweet date experience.

TikTok users @life.with.zainy..micks posted pictures on the fourth of August showing their visit to Beyers Chocolate Factory in Gauteng, calling it the perfect date spot.

The couple, who run a fragrance business together and recently had a baby, shared their "DATE IDEAS" post featuring the huge chocolate wonderland. The factory has an ice cream corner with different flavours, a food section, and shelves packed with chocolates in every shape, colour and pattern.

The pictures show chocolate puddings selling for just R12 each, with varieties like creamy coffee ganache, pistachio caramel, and cherry in milk chocolate. But the real showstoppers are the bigger chocolate creations that look more like cake pieces, selling for between R45 to R65.

The couple tried several puddings and gave their honest reviews. They rated a chocolate brownie pudding 10 out of 10, describing it as beautiful with chocolate pieces, cream on top, and another chocolate piece as decoration. A green pistachio pudding got 8 out of 10, with its white chocolate bottom and green top decorated with green and white chocolate discs.

However, their strawberry pudding wasn't a favourite because of the yoghurt filling, even though it looked pretty with a chocolate-covered strawberry on top and red and white splashes.

The most amazing creation was the Up house, made entirely out of chocolate, complete with a chimney and balloons sticking out of it. The factory also offers fancy teas and has chocolate displayed in steel tubs, bags, and boxes throughout the store.
