He noticed nothing suspicious but felt unsettled after they argued, and she told him she would not be answering his calls anymore.

When a man drives hours just for love

This response immediately got his heart pumping, and despite it being a Monday night, he showered, packed a bag, and began the five-hour drive from Durban to Phongolo at around 9 pm. He continued to call her while driving, but she had stopped picking up. He admitted that when he reached Kwabhoboza, he had second thoughts about his mission, but continued as he was already halfway there.

He arrived at her boarding house at 2 am, jumped the high-walled fence, and knocked on the caretaker’s window, who let him in. He then proceeded to knock on his girlfriend’s room, and after ten minutes, she opened the door, and he found that she was, in fact, alone.

When he got to her house around 2 am, he was shocked but happy to find her sleeping alone

"🤣 The reason why I am laughing lento yenzeke kum (is that this happened to me on) Thursday, which is yesterday. I was not feeling fine, so I told him ndiyalala on WhatsApp. Then I placed my phone on vibrate, since I didn't want to be disturbed 🤣. I heard a voice calling my name at night around 11 pm. Since I always sleep late, he thought nditakile (I slept out), and I opened the gate for him. He looked at me, laughed, and started apologising, saying it was unlike me to sleep early and that he thought uyashiywa (there was another man). So, men can be crazy like us."
