The pair met at a party and started talking right away. They’d go out on dates that the guy initiated, but things got weird when he would try to hide her in public, especially when they bumped into someone he was acquainted with.
The other red flag was that the guy’s parents did not quite approve of his new girl, as they would give her side eyes whenever she was around. The guy brushed it off by sharing that his folks were racist and still believed in the apartheid regime.

Youngster shares experience of dating first White guy

The other woman happened to be the guy’s girlfriend of two years. She was stunned to hear the news because she and the guy had been together for almost eight months.
People online tried to put two and two together and assumed that the guy was just a player and that the story about his parents being racist was just a cover-up to keep the girl away from his house. Some were stunned that the youngster still stayed after picking up on the first major red flags.

“You didn’t draw the line at ‘My parents still believe in the apartheid regime’? No way, my sister.”
@Khanya Dlamini pointed out:
”Black, White, Afrikaans, green or orange, they are all the same.”
@ThandekaNdube explained:
“I have a feeling the parents weren’t even racist to begin with; it’s just that they obviously know the two-year girlfriend, the same with his friend’s parents, you guys would bump into. Telling you his parents are racist was an “easier” way for you to never bring up the matter again.”
@🎀phuthiey🎀 was amazed:
“I literally stopped at apartheid to take breath, huh?”

@mb thought:
“But what if the parents were side-eyeing cause they knew about the other girl, and so he used apartheid as a cover? I wouldn’t put it past him based on all this?”
@Love commented:
“I once had a guy who I was talking to online tell me that whenever we date irl I'll never meet his parents because they would be physically violent upon sight and that they believed in slavery bc black people are genetically made for it, and he was BLOCKED so fast!”
@ryannn shared:
“I think he lied about his parents. White people are usually very transparent with their parents about their partners, so they could've been surprised to see you with him when they know about the other girl? I don’t know.”
@Anele in Tech 👩🏾💻 was stunned:
“I beg your finest pardon?”
