One young lady showed people that she is a hardworking entrepreneur in a TikTok video shared on 26 July 2025. The woman explained how she was able to find success because of her mother.

People were motivated to chase their own dreams after hearing the woman's ups and downs before settling on running a business. The young lady explained her journey from retail to entrepreneurship received thousands of likes from online users.
TikTok creator @segow_30106 shared a look at her day in her life as a student who runs a small business, called Meaty Kitchen in Soweto. The lady said she is pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Education at UNISA. She showed the behind-the-scenes of how the fast food joint is run, including food preparation and cleaning.
The TikTokker revealed that her mom used to make kotas at Meaty Kitchen when she was in school and that it was business. After she finished school and got a job in retail, her mom decided to close the kitchen. The 22-year-old worked in retail until she realised that the work environment was not suited for her. Since her mom said the kitchen was closed because she got a job, she went back to the drawing board.

@segow_30106 said she spoke to her mother and asked if she would let her run the fast food joint instead. Her mother was happy to oblige, already had all the equipment, and they went back into the food business. The 22-year-old is in charge of her mother's Meaty Kitchen and now makes burgers, chips and wings. She said the biggest advantage of finding success with the food business was that how mother already had a foot in the door.
