Khan warns Kaizer Chiefs against signing free agents

In an interview with iDiskiTimes, Farouk Khan, who once coached the Kaizer Chiefs academy, has offered some pieces of advice to his former employees for this transfer window.

The tactician claims Amakhosi needs to go back to the drawing board and reconnect with what they've been known for in terms of signing players in the transfer market.

He believes they need to stop signing players who are free agents and create their blueprint they can follow in bringing in recruits to Naturena.

“Stop starting from scratch every season,” Khan told iDiski Times.
“You need a clear blueprint. Build from within and ensure the technical, administrative, and management teams are working in sync.
“In the past, you could identify a Chiefs player instantly. That identity is missing now. It’s not just about winning a trophy, it’s about long-term, sustained excellence.”

While Khan acknowledged the efforts being made and the use of modern scouting technology, he emphasised that things could still be done more effectively.
