Newly promoted club in the Betway Premiership, Durban City, have handed over luxury cars to their head coach Gavin Hunt and his technical team ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Durban City were promoted to the South African top-flight league after winning the 2024–25 National First Division season.

Hunt, who was sacked by SuperSport United during the 2024-25 season and was replaced by a ex-Mamelodi Sundowns star, was appointed as the new coach of Durban City this summer after they parted ways with Simo Dladla.

Durban City released a statement alongside pictures on their official handle on X (formerly known as Twitter) to confirm the new cars handed over to their head coach and his technical team as they continue to prepare for the new season in the Betway Premiership.

The PSL side confirmed that the BMW car gift is powered by their new partners, Supertech Group.

"Driven by excellence. Our technical team just got handed the keys to a fleet of BMWs powered by our new partners, Supertech Group," the club statement reads on X.

The cars are BMW 320i, and according to the company's South African website, the cars are worth R943,000.

The post went viral on X and sparked different reactions from netizens as they congratulated the coaches.
