The competition, sponsored by Kaizer Chiefs in partnership with its commercial partners, saw five lucky finalists each receive a key and a chance to unlock the prize vehicle. Vatsha was the only one whose key started the car, and he drove it home.
How did Vatsha feel after winning the car?
Speaking to Daily Sun, Vatsha said the moment reminded him of 10 May, the day Kaizer Chiefs won the Nedbank Cup. He revealed that he had prayed earnestly on both occasions, then and now, believing in the power of faith and loyalty. He added that he would be sharing the car with others, as he is the type of person who believes in sharing what he has with those around him.

Kaizer Chiefs Marketing and Commercial Director Jessica Motaung said the initiative was more than just about winning a prize; it was a heartfelt gesture aimed at enriching the fan experience. She explained that every match ticket offered supporters more than just the chance to witness the game, but also to become part of something unforgettable.
Toyota South Africa Motors’ Marketing Manager, Khathochelo Mbanda, echoed the sentiment, saying the Toyota Cup was about passion and joy. He noted that competitions like these added an extra layer of excitement to football, which, ultimately, is what makes the tournament special.
