How did Kaizer Chiefs fare during pre-season
Kaizer Chiefs played three matches so far on their pre-season tour in the Netherlands, losing all three fixtures.
They narrowly lost 2-1 to Vitesse in their opening match, with Reeve Frosler, who recently returned from injury, scoring the Glamour Boys' only goal. This was followed by a heavy 4-0 loss to Utrecht.
In their final match, Nasreddine Nabi’s side fell to NEC Nijmegen, marking three successive defeats. The club’s fans are growing increasingly frustrated, as there appears to be little improvement in the team’s performance.
Over the weekend, Amakhosi also suffered a defeat against Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko in the Toyota Cup at Moses Mabhida Stadium, losing 4-3 on penalties.
