Nabi Explains Why He Was Frustrated Despite Kaizer Chiefs’ Top Performance Against Sundowns

Nasreddine Nabi has explained he was left unsatisfied despite Kaizer Chiefs' positive performance against Mamelodi Sundowns in their tie in the Betway Premiership on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

The Tunisian tactician return to the dug out after travelling home due to a family emergency, but was unable to lead the Glamour Boys to victor against the Betway Premiership champions.

“It’s true there is some kind of frustration because we believe we could’ve gotten the three points,” Nabi told SuperSportTV.

“But there was a good team in front of us. We have a little bit of regret of not having the three points today, but we’re going to work and look to the future.”

Nabi also discussed how Chiefs tried to exploit Sundowns “weakness” after Masandawana twice conceded late in games against Orlando Pirates.

“In the first half we struggled a little bit, but wanted to leave the possession to the opposition team because we know it’s not a team that finishes their games well,” he continued.
